This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Washington.
• Develop and execute thorough, detailed test cases for sprint-related tasks.
• Identify, document, track, and communicate bugs effectively.
• Evaluate test outcomes and suggest enhancements to development teams.
• Collaborate with development teams to enhance product quality and facilitate smooth, regular deployments.
• Automate tests utilizing testing frameworks and create QA automation tools when beneficial.
• Ensure adherence to programming best practices, accepted web standards, and upstream criteria.
• Conduct regression testing following bug fixes.
• Execute post-release and post-implementation testing.
• Oversee the results of the debugging process.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 2–4 years of experience in a QA engineer role.
• Familiarity with Playwright or other end-to-end testing tools like Selenium or Cypress.
• Expertise in writing automated tests, focusing on end-to-end UI testing.
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, React, HTML/CSS, TypeScript or JavaScript, Node.js, CI pipelines such as GitHub Actions, and back-end/database concepts.
• Experience with GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and Test-Driven Development methodologies.
• In-depth knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Proven ability to write clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases in an Agile/Scrum setting.
• Practical experience with test management tools like Jira or TestRail.
• Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database technologies.
• Familiarity with AWS services.
• Knowledge of performance and/or security testing principles.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical abilities.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
