Quality Assurance Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain automated QA frameworks for data pipelines, APIs, and analytics platforms utilizing Python and SQL.

• Create reusable testing utilities for data validation, regression testing, and pipeline certification.

• Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to facilitate continuous testing and deployment.

• Validate ETL/ELT pipelines to guarantee precise ingestion, transformation, and delivery of data.

• Formulate test strategies for architectures based on Apache Iceberg data lakehouses.

• Verify AI-generated metadata, lineage, and transformations for accuracy and traceability.

• Partner with data and AI teams to test data pipelines that support RAG, analytics, and machine learning workflows.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

• Over 5 years of experience in QA engineering, data testing, or software development.

• Strong programming capabilities in Python along with advanced SQL proficiency.

• Experience in constructing automated test frameworks for data platforms and ETL pipelines.

• Practical experience with AWS data services (S3, Glue, Redshift, Lambda, etc.).

• Experience in validating materialized views and performance-optimized data structures.

• Understanding of data modeling, metadata, and data governance principles.

• Proficiency in AI tools and AI-assisted development/testing workflows.

• U.S. Citizenship is required; must have the ability to obtain and maintain a federal clearance.
