Quality Assurance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Lead and implement detailed testing strategies, plans, and cases for software projects.

• Develop and uphold testing documentation while delivering actionable insights to the development team.

• Execute thorough manual testing across both frontend (UI/UX) and backend (API, data) systems to guarantee software reliability and functionality.

• Conduct system regressions to ensure the quality of our releases.

• Document clear and concise bugs identified in the system and engage in exploratory testing sessions to identify additional improvement areas.

• Communicate testing status, quality risks, and release readiness reports directly to project managers and clients.

• Participate in stand-ups, sprint planning sessions, retrospectives, and demos alongside coworkers and clients.

• Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends in quality assurance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of experience in Quality Assurance.

• Expertise in manual testing and experience as the sole QA within a team.

• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and manual testing strategies.

• Practical experience with bug tracking tools (Jira), test case management systems (Qase), API testing tools (Apollo/Postman), and cloud environments (AWS).

• Excellent analytical skills, a sharp eye for visual details, and the capability to navigate and test intricate systems and data flows.

• Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Ability to work remotely full-time from Uruguay or Argentina.
