This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Florida.
• Provide regression testing support for existing websites.
• Take responsibility for formulating a comprehensive end-to-end test plan for projects; executing the plan and overseeing all activities to ensure all objectives are achieved and that the solution performs as anticipated.
• The application must undergo testing for functionality, performance, reliability, stability, and compatibility with legacy systems and/or external platforms.
• Ensure that every phase and feature of the software solution is thoroughly tested, identifying and rectifying any potential issues prior to the product launch.
• Utilize existing frameworks and tools to create and execute automated test scripts.
• Maintain and refresh automation scripts as project requirements change.
• Support the QA Automation Engineer in mentoring QA team members on test automation initiatives.
• Analyze requirements to develop both manual and automated test cases.
• Ability to transition between automation and manual testing tasks as necessary.
• Review bug fixes and minor system enhancements to confirm that expected results are achieved.
• Collaborate with the development team to provide ongoing iterative feedback.
• Establish estimates and expectations for task completion, monitoring adherence to deadlines.
• Perform other support tasks as required.
• Over 5 years of practical QA experience.
• More than 3 years of hands-on test automation experience.
• Familiarity with Quality Management Software and associated processes.
• Direct experience in testing RESTful APIs and utilizing REST assured libraries.
• Proficient in automated script design, coding, debugging, and maintenance.
• Competent in coding with Java.
• Experience with Selenium and TestNG.
• Foundational understanding of software design, development, and architecture.
• Advanced knowledge of Web Standards, Accessibility Standards, and browser compatibility.
• Understanding the significance of User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI).
• Experience in a deadline-driven work environment.
• Self-motivated, organized, detail-oriented, and logical.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team.
• Capable of managing multiple projects of varying sizes and complexities, from small testing initiatives to extensive project testing.
• Proficient with version control systems (Git).
• Comfortable working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Enthusiastic about new technologies and software.
• Understanding of business processes.
• Knowledge and experience in the technical aspects of the software solutions being tested.
