Quality Assurance Analyst

📋 Description

• Execute comprehensive functional, regression, compatibility, and exploratory testing across game features, systems, and content to detect defects and guarantee a superior player experience.

• Precisely document, prioritize, and monitor bugs utilizing Jira, offering clear reproduction steps, supporting evidence, and detailed reports.

• Collaborate closely with developers, designers, producers, and other QA team members to investigate, reproduce, and validate issues, ensuring efficient resolution of defects.

• Assume responsibility for the testing process of new game features, formulating detailed test plans, executing test cases, and steering features towards release readiness.

• Create, maintain, and continually enhance test plans, test cases, and testing strategies for both new and existing game features.

• Actively engage in sprint planning, feature reviews, stand-ups, and team meetings, assisting in the definition of testing priorities and release readiness.

• Provide valuable feedback regarding gameplay, usability, user experience, and game design from a player-centric quality assurance viewpoint.

• Aid in the development and upkeep of QA documentation and testing procedures.

• Keep informed about the latest game testing methodologies, tools, and industry best practices, sharing insights with the broader QA team when appropriate.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in quality assurance testing within the gaming industry, with prior involvement in racing games.

• Strong grasp of game development processes and the software development lifecycle.

• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities with a sharp eye for detail.

• Proficient in utilizing bug tracking tools and software.

• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.

• Practical experience in playing and testing on contemporary gaming consoles (PS5, Xbox Series X/S).

• Eligibility to work and reside in the UK, Netherlands, or Germany.

• Strong command of the English language, both written and oral.
