Quality Analyst II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.

📋 Description

• Engage in requirements gathering and the development of test strategies and planning.

• Efficiently create, review, and execute test cases.

• Establish test data.

• Ensure that product modifications align with specifications or customer expectations.

• Communicate and monitor any defects or discrepancies between the program and specifications or customer expectations.

• Deliver timely, clear, and concise feedback regarding quality results to stakeholders.

• Follow up on tasks assigned to yourself and project team members, ensuring correspondence is informative and timely.

• Report on test status.

• Develop automated tests as possible, and execute and evaluate automation results.

• Recommend quality enhancements within the development cycle.

• Mentor QA testers.

• Serve as the subject matter expert for the assigned product or project.

• Train other testers/analysts on product features, functions, and departmental processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Four years of experience in IT Quality Assurance.

• Strong proficiency in testing tools, specifically Azure DevOps (2+ years of experience).

• SQL expertise (2+ years).

• Solid proficiency with automation tools and architecture (Tosca) (2+ years).

• Experience with data integrity testing using SQL (1+ year).

• Strong proficiency in Web services testing (2+ years).

• Managed test case coverage for a product or project.

• Proficient in testing across multiple Software Development Life Cycles (SDLCs) including Agile and Waterfall.

• Experience in directing and mentoring others within the QA team (1+ year).

• Understanding of key testing types, including system/integration, regression, and default/error testing (2+ years).
