This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the cross-functional team in delivering high-quality software while recommending suitable tools and process improvements.
• Define features from the user’s viewpoint and assist in creating user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Develop test cases that can be executed by any team member.
• Create and maintain Playwright automation tests for CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize agentic tools like Devin for test authoring and AI-driven quality engineering.
• Utilize MCP integrations with Xray for Jira to enhance test management and traceability.
• Identify and analyze bugs effectively.
• Collaborate with developers, product management, and the Quality Advocate to ensure alignment on quality standards.
• Keep abreast of quality processes, tools, and AI-enhanced development practices.
• Assist during release activities and create automated smoke test suites.
• Engage in learning and development opportunities.
• Report to the Software Development leadership team.
• Proven experience with a variety of testing methodologies and tools.
• Proficiency in writing test cases and assisting in the formulation of acceptance criteria.
• Experience working within a cross-functional team to deliver software solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Authentic interest in AI-driven tooling and a readiness to integrate agentic workflows into everyday quality tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Playwright or strong familiarity with similar tools such as Selenium or Cypress, along with a willingness to learn Playwright.
• Experience in incorporating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps.
• Familiarity with AI-powered development tools like Devin or GitHub Copilot.
• Experience with Xray for Jira or comparable test management tools; exposure to MCP integration is advantageous.
• ISTQB certifications are beneficial.
• Experience with horizontally scaling systems is a plus.
• Functional SQL knowledge for analysis and debugging is a plus.
• Familiarity with systems integration is a plus.
• Experience in SaaS-based companies is an advantage.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the United States (application requirement).
