Qualified Lawyer, Attorney – Corporate Law, Compliance & Data Protection

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Providing guidance to our clients on matters related to corporate law, compliance, and data protection.

• Preparing, reviewing, and negotiating contracts while offering legal support for intricate projects.

• Creating, implementing, and enhancing compliance management systems.

• Performing compliance assessments, data protection audits, and data protection impact evaluations.

• Offering advice on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG), and associated regulatory requirements.

• Drafting and negotiating agreements concerning data protection (such as data processing agreements, joint controller agreements, and standard contractual clauses).

• Overseeing data protection incidents and liaising with supervisory authorities.

⛳️ Requirements

• Successfully completed legal education with both German state examinations; bar admission (Rechtsanwaltschaft) is a plus.

• Several years of professional experience in corporate law, compliance, and/or data protection law, preferably in a law firm, in-house legal department, or at a legal service provider.

• Strong understanding of contract law; familiarity with data protection and compliance law is advantageous.

• Proven experience in leading legal projects and engaging directly with clients.

• A keen interest in Legal Tech and the digitization of legal processes.

• Fluent in German for business and possessing very good English language skills.
