This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Oversee the creation and execution of Competency Frameworks for the BSE Sector.
• Manage the development, evaluation, and integration of sector National Occupational Standards (NOS).
• Lead updates of qualifications that align with the educational requirements across all four UK Nations (including Apprenticeships, Short Courses, and related schemes).
• Ensure the content and quality of BESA Academy’s learning delivery and assessments adhere to internal plans, policies, and procedures.
• Establish and oversee processes for auditing BESA Academy's training and assessment offerings in accordance with scheme requirements, compliance, and BESA protocols.
• Direct and manage a risk-based internal assurance and audit schedule for both online and centre-based provisions of BESA Academy, in line with relevant policies and procedures.
• Assist in the development of internal and external learning solutions, ensuring quality assurance standards are met for BESA Academy products.
• Collaborate with the Leadership Team to identify, manage, and mitigate risks to ensure compliance.
• Create and track Quality Improvement Plans.
• Provide Internal Quality Assurance for all activities within BESA Academy.
• Generate concise reports to keep leaders and managers informed about key Internal Quality Assurance metrics, including data sets and action plans related to audits and compliance activities.
• Aid in the ongoing development and evaluation of operational policies, procedures, and scheme specification documents, offering guidance on best practices to users of these documents.
• Support the Training Centre onboarding process concerning BESA Academy quality standards and technical specifications.
• Manage the preparation and submission of Quality Action documents as mandated by funding or regulatory bodies.
• Engage in continuous professional development.
• A comprehensive understanding of the role of quality assurance in learning delivery.
• Experience in the development and management of quality improvement plans.
• Strong grasp of quality assurance and its application in the assessment of qualifications, short course outcomes, and apprenticeships.
• Familiarity with the processes and policies of awarding organisations.
• Proven experience collaborating with third-party organisations.
• Experience in creating diverse practical and theoretical learning and assessment products for the BSE sector.
• Proven track record in managing and delivering projects.
• A relevant learning and assessment qualification such as A1, CAVA, V1, or IQA.
• A valid driving licence.
