QC Manual Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Comprehensive Quality Ownership: Take charge of the manual verification process for intricate, end-to-end user workflows and business requirements within a live, high-traffic SaaS platform.

• Production Triage & Incident Management: Serve as a vital support line during live events, working alongside support teams to swiftly reproduce, debug, and identify unexpected system anomalies and misconfigurations.

• Cross-Functional Communication: Act as a liaison between non-technical client teams and core engineering by converting complex production bugs into clear, actionable engineering tickets.

• Backend & API Examination: Conduct thorough backend data verification and perform REST API validations to ensure strong integrations and data integrity.

• Test Strategy Development & Mapping: Evaluate unclear product requirements and effectively transform them into detailed test scenarios, validation maps, and comprehensive test cases.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in software testing, with a strong emphasis on manual verification of end-to-end user journeys within complex web applications.

• Extensive hands-on expertise with Postman for executing REST API validations and verifying backend integrations.

• Strong SQL capabilities for backend data verification, querying, and thorough database testing.

• Practical understanding of WCAG standards along with experience in using digital accessibility testing tools.

• Demonstrated experience working in Agile/Scrum environments, including active involvement in sprint ceremonies and proficient tracking via Jira.

• Experience collaborating within remote, distributed teams across LATAM.

• Proficiency in English (both written and spoken) for everyday technical communication and inter-team collaboration.
