QA/UAT Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold automated test coverage.

• Assess APIs and services.

• Execute user acceptance testing and exploratory tests.

• Automate workflows in browser environments.

• Utilize AI to enhance quality engineering practices.

• Incorporate quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.

• Analyze and prioritize defects.

• Assist in ensuring release readiness.

• Collaborate with various engineering teams.

• Contribute to the evolution of quality engineering.

⛳️ Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in QA, SDET, Quality Engineering, or software engineering roles focused on test automation.

• Proven experience in designing and managing automated testing frameworks and suites.

• Hands-on experience with Go (Golang).

• Background in testing APIs, microservices, or distributed systems.

• Knowledge of REST APIs, gRPC, contract testing, and API validation tools.

• Practical experience with browser automation frameworks like Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium.

• Familiarity with AI-assisted development or testing tools.

• Understanding of CI/CD systems and contemporary cloud-native development environments.

• Solid grasp of software testing principles.

• Exceptional written communication skills with a keen eye for detail.
