This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Develop and execute project-specific QA/QC plans, inspection checklists, and protocols.
• Oversee QA/QC team members, delegating tasks and monitoring their performance.
• Engage in the review of submittals and RFIs to ensure quality compliance.
• Attend pre-construction and quality-related meetings to align on project requirements.
• Create, oversee, and finalize completion/punch lists with assistance from the construction team.
• Conduct and coordinate inspections of materials, equipment, and construction activities across various disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical).
• Perform daily visual inspections and document the quality of workmanship and materials.
• Witness and coordinate materials testing and the commissioning of building systems.
• Inspect received materials and equipment to ensure they meet specifications and approved submittals.
• Maintain precise records of inspections, tests, and checklists utilizing tools such as Procore.
• Document field observations, daily logs, and generate regular quality performance reports.
• Monitor and report non-conformance issues (NCRs), ensuring corrective actions are taken and recorded.
• Produce weekly/monthly non-compliance reports along with statistical data.
• Manage project documentation, including submittals, testing records, and as-built drawings.
• Take notes and photographs during inspections and create daily reports detailing work performed and any issues identified.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and vendors to address quality concerns.
• Lead quality discussions on-site and during meetings with subcontractors.
• Comply with company safety policies and ethical standards, ensuring adherence to safety and quality protocols across the team.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or equivalent experience.
• Over 10 years of QA/QC experience in large-scale construction projects, with at least 2 years in management or equivalent experience.
• Certified Construction Quality Manager (CCQM).
• Certifications from the American Concrete Institute (ACI).
• Certified Quality Engineer (CQE).
• OSHA 10-hour or 30-hour certification.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, codes, and standards (e.g., ASTM, ACI, ISO).
• Proficient in project management and inspection software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam).
• Exceptional attention to detail, communication, documentation, and problem-solving abilities.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks while keeping organized records.
