QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Develop and execute manual test cases and run test scripts.

• Support the test lead in designing and crafting the test strategy and roadmap.

• Conduct unit testing.

• Evaluate and test software to verify adherence to defined standards and meet end-user needs.

• Complete tasks and activities as directed by the project manager or test lead, ensuring alignment with Red Clay’s TransformOne methodology.

• Comply with project timelines and budget limitations.

• Take part in production deployments and releases to ensure successful rollouts.

• Facilitate user acceptance testing.

• Document, report, and track defects to resolution, escalating issues as necessary.

• Notify the test lead of any concerns that could impact the schedule, budget, or quality of the product or the testing process.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in quality assurance manual testing.

• Minimum of 2 years of experience testing Oracle Utilities CC&B and/or Meter Data Management systems within the utility sector is mandatory.

• Exceptional oral and written communication abilities.

• Capability to collaborate effectively as part of cross-functional project teams in a matrix environment.

• Eagerness and ability to understand and quickly learn new technologies.

• Experience with Automated Testing, Load and Performance Testing, and/or testing tools is advantageous.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
