QA Tester

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ghana.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing on features of a web-based platform and its functionalities.

• Implement test cases while documenting the outcomes in a clear and precise manner.

• Detect, replicate, and record bugs with detailed steps, expected outcomes, and actual results.

• Reassess issues following the deployment of fixes to ensure they have been resolved.

• Assist in regression testing for new releases and updates to the platform.

• Assess usability, consistency, and overall quality throughout the product experience.

• Work in collaboration with developers and product managers to clarify issues and establish testing priorities.

• Aid in maintaining essential test documentation, checklists, and records of issue tracking.

• Fundamental understanding of software testing or quality assurance methodologies.

• Keen attention to detail, with the ability to identify inconsistencies, errors, and defects.

• Proficient written communication skills for documenting bugs, test outcomes, and observations.

• Capability to meticulously follow testing steps and manage repetitive tasks consistently.

• Problem-solving attitude that enables the reproduction of issues and identification of their causes.

• Comfortable using web applications, browsers, and standard business software tools.

• Quick learning ability in a dynamic product environment.

• Strong organizational skills, capable of handling multiple testing tasks simultaneously.

• Team-oriented mindset with a readiness to collaborate with both technical and non-technical colleagues.

• Relevant coursework, internship experience, certification, or project work related to QA, software testing, IT, computer science, or business systems.

• Experience with bug tracking or project management tools such as Jira, Linear, Trello, or similar platforms.

• Familiarity with aspects of writing, product quality, and ongoing improvement.

• Successful completion of a background check, including pre-employment drug screening.
