This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Create, design, and expand comprehensive automated test suites utilizing Node.js and TypeScript to ensure feature reliability.
• Spearhead practical automation testing across various web applications using Playwright, with additional experience in Android (Appium) environments.
• Develop and uphold test coverage for complex GraphQL queries as well as asynchronous, real-time communication interfaces like MQTT, WebSockets, or SSE.
• Oversee, scale, and manage automated test execution within continuous integration settings through GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Proactively utilize container registries, Docker images, and log aggregation tools to investigate and correlate errors across distributed services.
• Work collaboratively with engineering teams to identify, track (using Jira), and address environmental and application defects in a proactive manner.
• Incorporate advanced AI tools into your daily workflow to enhance efficiency in test creation and delivery timelines.
• 3-5 years of specialized experience in software quality engineering, test automation, or SDET roles.
• Core Languages: Strong, practical expertise in Node.js and TypeScript, along with experience using test runners such as Mocha.
• Modern Tooling Mastery: Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing UI frameworks with Playwright.
• Architecture Literacy: Extensive experience in validating GraphQL APIs and a solid understanding of testing strategies for messaging layers (MQTT, WebSockets, or Server-Sent Events).
• DevOps & Cloud Environment Awareness: Familiarity with containerized deployments using Docker and Git-based continuous integration/deployment delivery methodologies.
• Distributed System Debugging: Analytical capability to dissect, assess, and correlate service and application logs to identify root causes of code issues.
• Consultative Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively translate intricate technical bug findings into clear, actionable tracking discussions.
