QA Project Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Independently manage challenging IT projects throughout the complete project lifecycle.

• Assist senior project managers on complex initiatives by offering technical guidance and mentorship to project managers.

• Plan, oversee, and execute projects in alignment with the V-Model XT methodology.

• Ensure a well-structured project organization, which includes a comprehensive project management plan along with risk and opportunity management.

• Assume responsibility for technical, organizational, regulatory, security-related, contractual, and financial aspects of projects.

• Oversee contract compliance and manage change requests effectively.

• Track project costs and implement suitable corrective measures as needed.

• Accountable for defining, implementing, and continuously enhancing the project management plan.

• Serve as the primary liaison among clients, internal teams, and external service providers.

• Prepare, present, and communicate clear and informative project and status reports.

• Manage resource planning and conduct interviews for project resources.

• Contribute to the ongoing development of services.

• Ensure successful contract renewals for ongoing projects.

• Lead complex projects within the public sector.

• Provide expertise in Enterprise Architecture Management.

⛳️ Requirements

• Completed degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Software Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.

• Minimum of ten years of verifiable professional experience in managing complex IT projects.

• Strong experience with project methodologies, particularly the V-Model XT.

• Several years of hands-on experience leading traditional IT projects and practicing classical project management.

• Excellent knowledge of agile project management techniques, especially Scrum.

• Experience in public sector or governmental projects.

• Proven track record in managing projects with cross-border or transnational requirements.

• Solid understanding of Enterprise Architecture Management.

• Experience with Register Factory / IsyFact.

• Proficient in Jira, Zephyr, Confluence, as well as Git or GitLab.

• Strong analytical capabilities, a high level of personal accountability, and a structured, solution-focused approach to work.

• Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with a confident demeanor when interacting with clients and stakeholders.

• Proficient in German at a negotiation level and fluent in English.
