QA Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Crafting quality strategies — establishing standards, coverage expectations, and quality gates throughout the platform.

• Planning and executing tests — including functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web, mobile, and backend surfaces.

• Ensuring release confidence — taking responsibility for the go/no-go decision from a quality standpoint prior to production deployments.

• Managing bug triage — evaluating and prioritizing incoming issues while collaborating with engineering to route and resolve them.

• Implementing test automation — identifying elements suitable for automation and developing and maintaining the necessary tools.

• Fostering cross-functional collaboration — partnering with product, engineering, and compliance teams to ensure quality is integrated rather than added on.

• Proven experience in QA with a robust engineering background — whether through development, self-directed learning, or hands-on work with automation, infrastructure, or backend systems.

• A history of owning the quality domain, rather than merely adhering to a pre-designed process.

• Ability to work independently — you will be assigned projects and objectives without detailed step-by-step instructions.

• Strong systems thinking — comprehending how changes affect the system and where risks exist, rather than just determining if a feature functions in isolation.

• Familiarity with contemporary tools and a proactive approach to optimizing your workflow, including the use of AI tools.

• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to challenge readiness before shipment.
