QA Lead

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Qatar.

📋 Description

• Shape the future of quality by developing and executing testing strategies that ensure our platforms remain secure, stable, and scalable.

• Propel the evolution of test automation frameworks, regression testing, performance tests, and exploratory testing.

• Manage our QA tools and the related infrastructure.

• Work closely with engineering and product stakeholders.

• Establish organization-wide standards while allowing for innovative solutions within individual companies.

• Provide executive leadership with clear visibility into the current quality status.

• Assist in incident reviews and root-cause analyses.

• Collaborate with product managers to pinpoint essential business processes.

• Test a neobroker platform utilizing AWS, Java, Angular, and Flutter technologies.

• Lead and motivate a team: coach a group of 5–8 skilled QA Engineers.

• Cultivate a culture of curiosity, accountability, and ongoing improvement.

• Unite individuals: promote knowledge sharing and alignment across the three companies.

• Ensure that QA serves as a catalyst for speed and innovation rather than merely a safety net.

⛳️ Requirements

• Several years of experience in roles such as QA Manager, QA Lead, or Head of QA, preferably in a fast-paced environment with multiple products.

• In-depth knowledge of testing strategies, automation frameworks, and QA platforms.

• Demonstrated experience in defining and implementing a testing strategy across various teams.

• Hands-on experience (having written tests personally) with modern engineering practices and test frameworks, including CI/CD, agile development, and shift-left testing.

• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities—you enjoy aiding individuals in their growth and success.

• Exceptional communication skills: able to converse in “QA” with testers, “Tech” with engineers, and “results” with executives.

• A passion for building high-quality products that users can rely on.

• Background in finance/fintech with a solid grasp of the financial industry.

• Proficient in both German and English.
