QA Engineer – Wordpress

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Conduct functional testing on web projects: assess user journeys, navigation, call-to-action buttons, and web forms.

• Evaluate search functionalities, filters, sorting options, and other interactive elements.

• Carry out smoke and regression testing prior to releases.

• UI/UX and cross-browser testing: ensure that implemented pages align with design specifications in Figma.

• Test website rendering across various browsers and devices.

• Confirm that content updates made by the content team are accurately displayed without disrupting layouts or functionality.

• Quality assurance for integrations and web platforms: test connections with CRM systems, analytics platforms, and email services.

• Validate data transmission, user flows, redirects, and conversion tracking logic.

• Execute basic website performance assessments using Lighthouse and browser DevTools.

• SEO and WordPress quality assurance: check technical SEO elements, including metadata, structured data, indexing settings, and redirects.

• Test content and functionality on WordPress websites.

• Ensure the proper functioning of custom components, forms, and the WordPress admin panel.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in manual testing of web projects.

• Experience with testing WordPress-based websites.

• Understanding of modern web application architectures and workflows.

• Basic knowledge of HTML and CSS.

• Experience in cross-browser and responsive testing.

• Strong expertise in using browser DevTools.

• Familiarity with Jira, Figma, and Postman.

• Experience in creating and maintaining test cases, checklists, and regression test suites.

• Ability to document and report defects clearly, including reproduction steps, expected results, and actual results.

• Proficiency in English and Russian at an upper-intermediate level (B2+).
