QA Engineer – Selenium, C#, SQL Server

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing of web applications encompassing both frontend and backend layers.

• Validate API functionality and backend operations.

• Strategize, implement, and document testing processes.

• Develop test plans, scenarios, and cases based on feature specifications.

• Record test evidence using Xray.

• Analyze and report issues emerging from CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop and execute automated tests utilizing Selenium, C#, and Visual Studio.

• Maintain and support automation test pipelines.

• Contribute to the agile product team’s delivery and the maintenance of automation pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in manual testing of web applications.

• Proficiency in frontend and backend API testing using Insomnia and/or Swagger.

• Skills in SQL Server database validation.

• Experience in conducting regression, exploratory, and confirmation testing, including both functional and non-functional testing.

• Capability to create test plans, scenarios, and cases derived from feature requirements.

• Documentation of test evidence using Xray.

• Experience in analyzing and reporting failures from CI/CD pipelines, such as TeamCity.

• Creation and execution of automated tests using Selenium, C#, and Visual Studio.

• Familiarity with version control systems like Bitbucket.

• Maintenance and support of automation test pipelines.

• Proficient written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ minimum).

• Preferred experience in agile/scrum product teams.

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools beyond TeamCity is preferred.

• Background in performance, load, or security testing is a plus.
