QA Engineer – Middle

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of the quality assurance process for designated features throughout the entire development lifecycle.

• Create and execute thorough manual testing scenarios based on both business and technical requirements.

• Assess business requirements to identify any missing, ambiguous, or high-risk scenarios prior to implementation.

• Detect, investigate, document, and validate software defects while assisting in root cause analysis.

• Work collaboratively with analysts, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the delivery of a high-quality product.

• Oversee release readiness from the QA standpoint, including testing status and risk evaluation.

• Sustain and enhance test documentation and the QA knowledge base continuously.

• Play a role in refining QA processes, testing methodologies, and automation efforts within the team.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a QA Engineer or Manual QA Engineer.

• Proven experience in testing ERP, accounting, financial, or other enterprise-level business applications.

• A solid understanding of accounting principles, financial terminology, and business processes.

• Strong analytical skills and a technical mindset.

• Capability to analyze complex business requirements and convert them into effective testing scenarios.

• Ability to work autonomously, prioritize tasks, and take responsibility for testing activities.

• Proficiency in English at an intermediate level or higher.

• Proficiency in Russian at a near-native level.

• Preferred: Experience with 1C-based solutions.

• Preferred: Familiarity with Jira, TestRail, Vanessa Automation, Visual Studio Code, Git, and Allure.

• A keen interest in test automation and a willingness to develop automation skills.

• Experience in introducing new QA tools or enhancing QA processes.

• A curious attitude, a mindset for continuous learning, and an eagerness to explore new QA tools and technologies.
