QA Engineer – Manual & Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create, implement, and sustain both manual and automated test cases.

• Conduct API testing along with automation of API tests.

• Execute UI testing and automate UI tests for web applications.

• Detect, document, and monitor software defects until resolution.

• Work closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure high product quality.

• Engage in requirements analysis, test planning, and validation during releases.

• Leverage AI-driven tools to enhance test coverage, productivity, and overall QA processes.

• Independently manage and take responsibility for testing activities throughout the software development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in manual API testing and automation testing using modern tools and frameworks.

• Proven experience in manual UI testing and automation testing with contemporary tools and frameworks.

• Proficiency in at least one programming language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript, C#, Go, or similar).

• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, test design approaches, and defect management processes.

• Experience utilizing AI tools to augment testing, automation, analysis, and overall productivity.

• Capability to work autonomously with minimal guidance.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments is advantageous.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and integration of test automation is a bonus.

• Background in performance, security, or mobile testing is a plus.

• Knowledge of cloud-based applications and contemporary development practices is a plus.
