QA Engineer II

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Design and uphold automated testing procedures utilizing Python while receiving guidance from senior team members.

• Contribute to the creation of test cases for APIs, AI services, backend operations, and comprehensive end-to-end scenarios.

• Assist in the integration of automated testing within CI/CD pipelines.

• Aid in the upkeep and enhancement of current testing frameworks.

• Perform both manual and automated testing to verify new features and address bug fixes.

• Clearly identify, document, and track bugs effectively.

• Engage in code reviews and participate in testing discussions.

• Acquire and implement best practices in software quality assurance and testing.

• Support projects aimed at increasing test coverage through the use of AI tools.

• Experiment with AI-driven test generation and analysis tools.

• Understand how AI can be leveraged to pinpoint gaps in test coverage and enhance efficiency.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and QA team members.

• Actively pursue learning new tools, technologies, and testing strategies.

• Inquire, seek feedback, and continuously develop your skill set.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Fundamental knowledge of Python programming.

• Familiarity with software testing principles (either manual or automated).

• Experience with version control systems (Git).

• A strong desire to learn and advance in QA automation.

• Nice to have: Familiarity with testing tools such as PyTest, Selenium, or Playwright.

• Basic understanding of APIs (REST) and their testing methodologies.

• Knowledge of locators and selectors, particularly XPath and CSS.

• Basic experience with Linux.

• Awareness of CI/CD principles.

• Interest in AI/ML or curiosity about the application of AI in testing processes.

• ISTQB certification.
