QA Engineer, Database and Integration Migration

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Assist in the transition from on-premises Oracle and Boomi to Azure SQL and Azure Data Factory.

• Verify the accuracy of migrated data, database objects, ETL pipelines, integrations, and business rules within the Azure environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in testing data migration, ETL, ELT, or data integration projects.

• Proficient SQL skills for data validation, reconciliation, and comparing data between source and target systems.

• Experience in validating data across relational databases such as Oracle, SQL Server, and/or Azure SQL.

• Capability to test ETL pipelines, data transformations, mappings, business rules, and integration logic.

• Proficient in creating test plans, test cases, test scripts, and execution reports.

• Experience with defect identification, documentation, triage, and retesting processes.

• Knowledge of source-to-target mappings, data profiling, data quality checks, and reconciliation procedures.

• Strong attention to detail, along with excellent analytical and communication skills.
