QA Engineer – Automation

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• You will play a pivotal role in defining our QA strategy for a legal-tech and fintech SAAS product.

• You will collaborate closely with developers and architects to create and implement robust test automation for both frontend and backend services.

• Assist in ensuring that our systems are dependable, secure, and scalable.

• Quickly acquire and adapt to new technologies as the role demands.

⛳️ Requirements

• Professional experience in QA / SDET roles: 3+ years in software testing with a strong emphasis on automation.

• Automated testing: Proven experience in writing tests for Python and JavaScript/TypeScript projects.

• Backend testing: Familiarity with testing backend APIs and services using tools and libraries such as Pytest, along with API documentation/testing tools like Swagger and Postman.

• Frontend testing: Experience with contemporary frontend testing frameworks and libraries such as Jest, Playwright, Cypress, or Puppeteer.

• Test strategy: Capability to devise testing strategies for features and projects, considering scope, risk, and coverage.

• Collaboration and communication: Comfort in working within a small, highly collaborative team and communicating effectively.

• Version control and workflows: Experience with Git-based workflows, including collaboration through pull requests and code reviews.

• Documentation: Ability to clearly and maintainably document test plans, test cases, and automation architecture.
