QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• This is a remote position offering the flexibility to work from any location.

• Responsibilities include testing mobile applications developed with React Native.

• Involves testing backend systems built on Ruby on Rails.

• Future assistance will be required for web applications based on Next.js.

⛳️ Requirements

• Extensive experience with Playwright (JavaScript) is essential.

• Proven hands-on experience in testing mobile applications.

• Proficiency in Appium is required.

• Strong understanding of various locators (XPath, CSS selectors, accessibility IDs, etc.) is a must.

• Good knowledge of API testing using Postman.

• Experience in both manual and automation testing (including sanity, regression, and end-to-end testing).

• Familiarity with Jira and Git is necessary.

• Basic understanding of SQL and backend validation is expected.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.) is important.

• Knowledge of modern web applications (specifically React and Next.js) is advantageous.

• Experience with Java and Rest Assured for API automation is a plus.

• Exposure to Maestro Debugging tools like Charles or Proxyman is beneficial.
