This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee comprehensive quality assurance, test automation, and release verification processes across web platforms and associated microservices.
• Develop, maintain, and execute parallelized end-to-end smoke and regression test suites utilizing Playwright and TypeScript.
• Embed automated tests directly into GitLab CI pipelines.
• Create automated schema and contract test coverage for GraphQL and REST/JSON:API endpoints.
• Incorporate AI tools into workflows to generate Playwright scripts from Figma specifications, create mock payloads, and streamline log triage.
• Review Figma design specifications, UX flows, and API contracts prior to sprint commitments.
• Actively engage in pull request reviews.
• Track build health, Sentry error logs, GCP Cloud Run logs, and utilize network profiling tools.
• Identify bugs across Nuxt frontend state, GraphQL resolvers, Laravel backend, and MySQL databases.
• Verify asynchronous messaging and outreach workflows.
• Execute visual regression and component-level testing utilizing Vitest and Storybook.
• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Web QA Engineering or Test Automation.
• At least 1 year of hands-on experience integrating AI coding tools into daily workflows.
• Strong practical experience with Playwright, or Cypress/Selenium using TypeScript/JavaScript.
• Experience in automated end-to-end, visual regression, and cross-browser testing.
• Practical knowledge of testing GraphQL and REST/JSON:API endpoints using tools like Bruno, Postman, or script-based test collections.
• Expertise in inspecting Nuxt/Vue DOM elements and Figma design specifications/tokens.
• Proficient in using Browser DevTools and conducting network profiling.
• Experience in integrating automated test runs within Git/GitLab CI pipelines.
• Familiarity with configuring test reporters such as HTML/JUnit.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or relevant practical experience in software development/test automation.
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely in written and spoken English for bug reporting, documentation, and remote collaboration.
• Nice-to-have: advanced skills in AI-assisted test generation, TypeScript/Vue 3/Nuxt, Vitest, Storybook, Twilio webhooks, SMS/RCS, generative AI/LLM outputs, Docker, GCP, Unleash, relevant certifications, PHP/Laravel, Bun/Node, consumer SaaS, EdTech, conversion funnels, or subscription/Stripe billing flows.
