QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Evaluate new product features and enhancements for referral and promoter-facing applications.

• Create and implement test scenarios utilizing structured test design methodologies.

• Develop and sustain API test coverage employing Postman, Newman, Supertest, or comparable tools.

• Assess user journeys, usability, and interface quality across web applications.

• Confirm application functionality across various browsers, devices, and operating systems.

• Conduct performance testing and assess system behavior under load conditions.

• Detect, document, and examine defects, risks, and quality concerns.

• Incorporate tests into CI/CD pipelines to enhance release confidence and test coverage.

• Collaborate with Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers to uphold quality throughout the development lifecycle.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience in testing web applications.

• Proficient manual testing skills and experience in developing test cases and documentation.

• Experience in testing REST APIs and GraphQL services.

• Practical experience with Postman, Newman, Supertest, or similar API testing tools.

• Knowledge of modern frontend applications and rendering techniques, including SSR, SSG, and client-side rendering.

• Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.

• Familiarity with browser developer tools and debugging methods.

• Experience in integrating tests into CI/CD workflows.

• Solid understanding of software testing principles, test design techniques, and quality assurance practices.

• Desirable:

• Experience with performance testing tools such as k6.

• Awareness of common web security vulnerabilities, including XSS, CSRF, and SQL injection.

• Experience working on growth, referral, marketplace, or other customer-facing products.
