QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Conduct manual testing of new pod features and releases prior to deployment, which is the primary focus of the position.

• Generate detailed bug reports that include reproduction steps, expected outcomes, actual results, logs, screenshots, or any other relevant information.

• Collaborate with the appropriate team members to ensure that bugs are resolved, validated, and deployed to production.

• Develop automated tests for recurring evaluations, which encompass end-to-end scripts and headless browser tests.

⛳️ Requirements

• Background in QA, software testing, release testing, or a related field.

• Proficient manual testing abilities, capable of crafting practical test cases, reproducing bugs, and documenting issues effectively.

• Familiarity with testing technical software, including APIs, CLIs, backend services, infrastructure, developer tools, or distributed systems.

• Comfortable utilizing command-line tools, analyzing logs, executing scripts, and operating in local or staging environments.

• Some experience with automated testing, scripting, smoke tests, regression tests, or end-to-end tests.

• A strong commitment to release quality: you continue testing until the behavior is thoroughly understood.

• Nice to have: Experience with blockchain systems, exchanges, trading platforms, fintech products, databases, or distributed systems. Familiarity with Docker, CI, Kubernetes, cloud environments, or API testing tools. Experience in writing scripts or tests using Python, TypeScript, Rust, Go, or Bash. Knowledge of wallets, transactions, RPC APIs, validators, smart contracts, or Ethereum-compatible tools.
