QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Romania.

📋 Description

• Engaging with clients and team members to assess and analyze technical specifications.

• Ensuring the software delivered by developers meets high standards of quality and business value.

• Establishing and promoting technical best practices while ensuring compliance.

• Formulating Quality Assurance processes and tools for both the internal QA team and customer representatives.

• Performing manual and automated testing while evaluating the outcomes.

• Verifying non-functional requirements.

• Investigating and documenting identified issues.

• Providing coaching and mentorship to fellow QA team members.

• Defining, documenting, and disseminating best practices across various project teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of experience with Agile software development methodologies.

• Strong commercial experience in testing techniques and methodologies.

• Proficient in diagnostics and debugging.

• Foundational knowledge of software architecture.

• Familiarity with tools designed to enhance work efficiency regarding content, structure, quality, and effectiveness.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficient in English.

• Preferred: Experience as a software tester on a range of successfully completed projects.

• Experience with Software Automation Frameworks, scripting languages, and Object-Oriented Programming.

• Academic qualifications in Information Technology.

• Certifications in Software Testing such as ISTQB, BBST, etc.
