This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Europe.
• Execute manual, exploratory, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing across a variety of products and systems.
• Create, develop, and sustain a UI automation test suite as well as quality tools utilizing Typescript and Playwright, incorporating wallet extensions like MetaMask/Keplr into the suite.
• Assess functionality across web applications, APIs, backend services, blockchain infrastructure, and protocol-level features.
• Investigate issues within frontend, backend, infrastructure, and distributed systems.
• Examine logs, metrics, network traffic, and system behavior to pinpoint root causes and quality risks.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, and other stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle.
• Contribute to release validation, test strategy, automation initiatives, and ongoing improvement efforts.
• Utilize AI-driven tools and workflows to enhance testing, automation, investigation, and overall quality engineering efficiency.
• Support the development of new products, features, and initiatives as business priorities shift.
• Aid in production investigations, incident analysis, and post-release validation as required.
• Actively identify quality gaps, process inefficiencies, and opportunities for enhancing product reliability and testing coverage.
• 4-5 years of experience as a QA Engineer.
• Experience in testing frontend Web3 applications, dApps, wallets, smart contract integrations, or other user-facing blockchain experiences.
• Experience testing frontend trading platforms, decentralized exchanges, financial dashboards, or other complex distributed applications with user-critical workflows.
• Experience in both manual testing and test automation.
• Proficiency in Typescript and experience in developing or maintaining automation frameworks such as Playwright and internal tools.
• Familiarity with Playwright, Pytest, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, or similar technologies.
• Experience in testing and debugging REST, gRPC, WebSocket, or other API-driven systems.
• Understanding of blockchain transactions, wallet integrations, blockchain explorers, and smart contract interactions.
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging abilities across various layers of the technology stack.
• Capability to quickly learn new products, technologies, and domains with minimal guidance.
• Comfortable contributing across different products, technologies, and layers of the stack rather than being confined to a single specialization.
• Strong sense of ownership and the ability to independently drive investigations from problem discovery to resolution.
• Practical experience utilizing AI tools to enhance productivity while applying sound engineering judgment and common sense.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills when engaging with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
