QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Formulate testing strategies, plans, test cases, and engineering best practices in the realm of software test engineering.

• Assist with data governance and profiling initiatives to uphold data quality and ensure appropriate metadata documentation for data lineage.

• Develop and implement test strategies across all supported platforms to enhance overall quality and test coverage.

• Partner with Product Management and Engineers to grasp requirements, translate them into test cases, and establish product quality objectives and metrics.

• Reproduce, isolate, and troubleshoot issues, providing comprehensive bug reports.

• Validate data collected from various systems.

• Identify edge cases that could potentially compromise data quality or integrity.

• Collaborate with Automation Engineers to comprehend test case requirements for creating thorough test automation projects.

• Discovering bugs and conducting tests.

• Operate independently on assigned tasks and projects.

• Adhere to the established test plan.

• Automation: Develop and maintain scripts for existing frameworks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of experience in the QA domain.

• Proficiency with GitHub.

• Experience in writing tests and creating collections within Postman.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

• Strong organizational capabilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Familiarity with Jira or similar Kanban board-style tools.

• Experience in testing web-based applications.

• Proficient in using Chrome DevTools for identifying browser errors and issues.

• Previous remote work experience in a QA capacity.

• Advantageous if you possess: over 1 year of current experience with WebdriverIO.

• Practical experience with AWS CodeBuild and CodePipeline.

• Previous employment in a SaaS organization.
