QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Take charge of quality assurance across iOS, Android, and web products.

• Ensure reliable releases prior to reaching users.

• Review 50–60 tickets in Linear (occasionally exceeding 100 during feature releases).

• Test new features against Figma designs across all platforms.

• Validate multi-role permission logic.

• Act as a liaison between the non-technical product team and the technical development team.

• Identify bugs and design inconsistencies before they go live.

• Continuously work to decrease defects that appear in the production environment.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–4 years of professional experience in QA or software testing.

• Practical testing experience across iOS, Android, and web applications.

• Proven experience validating features against design specifications and testing multi-role user permission logic.

• Experience working remotely within a distributed team.

• Demonstrated ability to manage 40–60+ test tickets daily in a fast-paced release environment.

• Availability to work during US business hours across EST–PST.

• B2+ English (CEFR) proficiency for effective cross-functional communication with product and development teams.

• Familiarity with Linear, Figma, and GitHub.

• Experience with AI-assisted or automated regression testing tools (e.g., Appium, Selenium).

• Background in event technology, hospitality, ticketing, or consumer social platforms.

• Prior QA experience at an early-stage startup (under 50 employees).

• Experience mentoring or training junior QA team members.
