QA Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in France.

📋 Description

• Conduct testing campaigns prior to each release (RC, hotfix): perform smoke and regression testing on actual devices and simulators (iOS & Android), across various OS versions and configurations.

• Confirm fixes prior to merging and before submission to stores, playing a key role in go/no-go release decisions with a documented quality perspective.

• Take ownership of bug investigation from start to finish: reproduce, isolate, and document issues with comprehensive steps, expected vs actual outcomes, environment details, logs, and version information.

• Contribute to enhancements in quality practices.

• Engage in agile ceremonies (refinement, planning, demos): question acceptance criteria and foresee edge cases.

• Highlight quality trends and identify areas of weakness.

• Experience in test automation: creating test scripts, CI integration, and utilizing iOS/Android tools.

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (such as GitHub Actions or similar).

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience in mobile automation, preferably with a high-traffic consumer application.

• Practical experience with iOS and/or Android: manual testing on actual devices as well as emulators/simulators.

• Strong understanding of various testing types: functional, regression, smoke, and exploratory testing.

• Capability to produce actionable bug reports and clear, effective test plans.

• Experience working within an agile framework.

• Native or bilingual proficiency in both French and English.
