QA Engineer – Agent app

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Conducting manual testing of a RESTful microservice architecture, focusing on:

• Services pertaining to the issuance and management of virtual and physical cards

• Transaction processes including authorizations, captures, reversals, and refunds

• Testing new features related to card functionalities

• Performing regression testing during software releases and infrastructure migrations

• Crafting test cases, checklists, and documenting the results of tests

• Collaborating with developers, product managers, and analysts based on testing outcomes

• Gathering and analyzing QA metrics

• Potential to advance into Automation Quality Assurance: automating the testing of card and payment flows at the API level

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient use of Postman (or equivalent tools)

• Basic coding skills (Java / JS / Kotlin)

• Experience with PostgreSQL, including writing queries, validating stored data, and managing entity relationships

• Familiarity with Kafka: validating event delivery, analyzing topics, and contract/schema validation

• Understanding of fundamental card processing principles: authorization, holds, and chargebacks

• Background in testing financial products (cards, payments, transaction systems)

• Experience with load or automated testing methodologies

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (GitLab) and reporting tools such as Allure
