QA Automation, Mid-level

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Test planning and execution: Develop comprehensive test plans that detail strategies, test cases, and scripts to guarantee thorough coverage of requirements. Conduct functional, regression, and integration testing, both manually and through automated methods.

• Automated testing: Create and implement automated tests utilizing tools and frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, or equivalent. Collaborate closely with developers to ensure extensive test coverage and seamless integration within the development cycle.

• Unit tests: Partner in the development of unit tests to uphold code quality. Detect and report bugs and performance concerns, working with the team to address them promptly.

• Requirements analysis: Engage actively in the initial phases of the development cycle by examining requirements and technical specifications. Spot potential issues or discrepancies and offer suggestions for enhancements.

• Data analysis: Leverage SQL expertise to execute queries and analyze data in relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL). Confirm the accuracy of processed data and maintain consistency of information across systems.

• Teamwork: Work closely with development team members and other stakeholders including project managers, business analysts, and support teams. Participate in meetings, provide status updates, and collaborate to enhance testing and quality processes.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as a Quality Analyst (QA) with a specialization in software testing.

• Advanced proficiency in test automation using tools and frameworks such as Selenium, Cucumber, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.).

• Strong SQL skills for querying and managing data in relational databases (SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL).

• Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Understanding of agile methodologies, including Scrum.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
