This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New Jersey.
• Create and develop comprehensive test harnesses for .NET solutions, encompassing end-to-end, integration, and API tests utilizing Playwright and related frameworks.
• Enhance and maintain current test suites, refactoring them for stability, reusability, and clear failure diagnostics.
• Collaborate with developers to ensure applications are designed for testability, incorporating hooks, identifiers, and contract patterns.
• Incorporate test execution into Azure DevOps pipelines, ensuring appropriate parallelization, reporting, and quality gates.
• Execute and troubleshoot test workloads in Azure-hosted environments, addressing environment-specific configurations.
• Enhance release confidence by linking test results to deployment decisions and feedback mechanisms.
• Lead and promote agentic automation methods, AI-assisted test generation, and self-healing test strategies to improve coverage and minimize maintenance.
• Contribute to QA standards, tools, and methodologies that are shared across Aubrant engagements.
• Engage in test planning, defect triage, and quality assessments in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience; must possess proficiency in both written and spoken English (85%).
• 3 to 5 years of professional QA automation experience in building and maintaining production test suites.
• Strong expertise in Playwright for end-to-end test automation, including page object patterns, fixtures, parallel execution, and stable selector design.
• Solid knowledge of .NET test automation, including coding tests in C# and integrating with .NET solutions; familiarity with frameworks like xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
• Practical experience integrating tests into Azure DevOps pipelines, covering build/release configuration, test parallelization, and results reporting.
• Working knowledge of Azure for executing and troubleshooting test workloads in cloud-hosted environments.
• Strong capabilities in API testing, test data management, and producing maintainable, well-structured test code.
• Familiarity with version control (Git), code review methodologies, and test-related quality gates.
• Proven interest in advancing QA practices, including agentic automation, AI-assisted test generation, or self-healing test patterns.
• Experience with performance, load, or security testing tools is advantageous.
• Experience with TypeScript or other languages utilized in contemporary Playwright projects is a plus.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities; strong skills in communication, collaboration, customer orientation, innovative thinking, and adaptability in uncertain situations.
