QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Organize testing activities, engage in iteration and release planning.

• Conduct requirements testing, performance testing, compatibility, and integration testing at the system level.

• Perform both exploratory and scripted testing on all our products.

• Prioritize and manage issues that are identified.

• Collaborate with product managers, designers, software developers, other QA engineers, and technical writers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in testing.

• Strong background in planning and executing manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing.

• Proficient in creating checklists.

• Experience in testing web applications.

• Knowledge of business logic, usability, and user interface testing.

• Familiarity with the differences between GET and POST requests.

• Basic understanding of XSS vulnerabilities.

• Comprehension of the software development lifecycle and various software development methodologies.

• Experience with Jira and Confluence.

• The following qualifications will be viewed as advantageous:

• ISTQB certification.

• Experience in Jira administration.

• Familiarity with agile software development methodologies.

• Experience utilizing mind maps.

• Background in performance testing.

• Experience in security testing.
