QA Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.

📋 Description

• Analyze specifications and collaborate with both business and technical teams to establish testable requirements.

• Engage in software design reviews to offer insights and identify possible issues.

• Assess the most effective testing strategy based on the potential risks and impacts of changes, while ensuring adequate testing coverage.

• Create, document, and maintain test plans, test cases, and other testing documentation.

• Conduct application and integration testing involving Tibco, .Net applications, web services, and Oracle databases.

• Identify, replicate, and report defects while verifying fixes for those defects.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficient in testing web applications and services.

• Skilled in working with Oracle databases, including the ability to write SQL queries.

• Strong analytical abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Experience in developing testing plans.

• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

• Capacity to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

• Background in Transportation / Logistics is advantageous.

• Experience with Automated Testing is a plus.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Team Foundation Server is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or Information Technology.
