Python Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Contribute to the design and advancement of dependable systems and shared capabilities that facilitate the entire ML lifecycle—from experimentation to production.

• Take initiative in creating platform tools, shared services, and infrastructure that enable large-scale Machine Learning.

• Collaborate within a vibrant team of engineers in the ML Platform Domain, offering technical guidance, mentorship, and support.

• Work closely with product managers and stakeholders, including data scientists and ML engineers, to facilitate the complete ML lifecycle, encompassing experimentation, training, deployment, and monitoring.

• Remain committed to continuous learning and staying informed about emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends to ensure Prima’s ML platform is robust and future-ready.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in software development utilizing Python.

• Strong understanding of software design principles and architecture.

• Expertise in software development methodologies such as TDD and BDD, ensuring our code is characterized by quality, readability, and maintainability.

• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, IaC, and containerization technologies.

• Familiarity with messaging/streaming platforms (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ) and designing relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL).
