Python Engineer – Mid-Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Mexico.

📋 Description

• Design and sustain backend services utilizing Python and Django.

• Engage extensively with Django ORM and intricate database queries.

• Construct and oversee data pipelines and feed ingestion systems (XML, APIs).

• Implement background processing with Celery and Redis.

• Integrate with external systems, including ATS platforms such as Greenhouse, Lever, or iCIMS.

• Enhance the performance of PostgreSQL databases and backend systems.

• Provide support for job distribution systems and data workflows.

• Diagnose and resolve backend issues across various services.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.

• Assume ownership of backend features from inception to completion.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proficiency in English at an advanced level (both written and spoken).

• Strong expertise in Python and Django, including a solid understanding of its internals and ORM.

• Practical experience with Celery and Redis for asynchronous processing and scheduled tasks.

• Advanced understanding of PostgreSQL, including the ability to execute complex queries.

• Familiarity with third-party API integrations, particularly with ATS platforms (e.g., Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS).

• Experience in developing and maintaining data pipelines or feed processing systems.

• Capability to work independently and navigate complex or legacy systems.
