Python Engineer, Data Domains

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• You will define the architecture of data products designed for analytics and data science.

• You will spearhead the transformation of data, establishing best practices in data modeling, performance enhancement, and governance.

• You will create reusable tools and frameworks that enable teams to ingest, store, transform, and deliver their own data products.

• You will collaborate closely with data scientists and machine learning engineers.

• You will maintain a curious mindset and continuously evolve by experimenting with new technologies.

⛳️ Requirements

• You are a Data Engineer or Software Engineer with a strong proficiency in Python.

• You have experience in building and managing batch and distributed data processing systems, as well as near real-time streaming pipelines using technologies such as Kafka, Flink, or Spark.

• You are well-versed in RDBMS and data warehousing, with an understanding of how to design data models that meet business requirements.

• You have experience with CI/CD and testing methodologies for data pipelines.

• You excel in a culture of ownership and collaboration, readily engaging beyond your immediate responsibilities.
