Python Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain Python-based services and integrations that facilitate IAM and access management platforms.

• Assist with cloud infrastructure deployments using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform / Terraform Enterprise) under the guidance of senior engineers.

• Aid in the onboarding process of internally hosted, SaaS, and custom applications into centralized data and access frameworks.

• Support the implementation and maintenance of integrations between IAM tools and enterprise platforms such as IGA solutions, ServiceNow, and Okta.

• Conduct data mapping and management activities to unify application user access data.

• Contribute to the development and upkeep of Terraform Enterprise (TFE) projects, AWS resources, and reusable modules.

• Assist in building event-driven and serverless solutions utilizing AWS services (e.g., Lambda, SQS, SNS).

• Help design and support APIs and backend services for various platform integrations.

• Participate in CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and uphold quality standards in line with best practices.

• Collaborate with the team to ensure the reliability, security, and scalability of the platform.

⛳️ Requirements

• 2–3 years of experience in developing, debugging, and testing Python applications.

• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, including version control, code reviews, and CI/CD fundamentals.

• Practical experience with Terraform (and preferably Terraform Enterprise), including module usage and safe change management.

• Familiarity with AWS services such as Lambda, ECS, API Gateway, DynamoDB, Aurora RDS, SNS, SQS, and ALB.

• Understanding of event-driven architectures and serverless and/or containerized solutions.

• Basic involvement in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools).

• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional, distributed teams.

• Openness to working flexible hours occasionally to support global collaboration as needed.
