This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Czechia.
• Implement automated health checks for AWS resources and applications.
• Create performance monitoring dashboards and scripts to assess system health and service level agreements (SLAs).
• Develop and configure alerting systems using AWS services such as CloudWatch, SNS, and EventBridge.
• Ensure that relevant teams receive timely notifications through automated workflows.
• Construct Python-based automations to verify and maintain configuration consistency across various AWS accounts.
• Design scripts to identify anomalies, misconfigurations, and compliance issues.
• Establish automated service request workflows to engage engineering, DevOps, and support teams.
• Integrate alerting workflows with ticketing or communication systems (e.g., Slack, email, Jira).
• Over 6 years of experience in Python development and AWS automation.
• Strong practical experience with Python for automation, monitoring, and scripting tasks.
• Comprehensive understanding of AWS services, including:
• - Lambda
• - CloudWatch
• - SNS
• - EventBridge
• - X-Ray
• Experience in building monitoring dashboards, alerts, and automated health checks.
• High attention to detail, capable of validating computations and troubleshooting issues.
• Strong skills in debugging and optimization.
• Good to Have: Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as:
• - Splunk
• - AppDynamics
• - Datadog, New Relic, or similar observability platforms.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
