Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Philippines.

📋 Description

• Design, create, and sustain web scrapers based on Python.

• Develop and manage browser automation processes utilizing Playwright and Selenium.

• Extract information from dynamic websites that are heavily reliant on JavaScript.

• Enhance and maintain scraping systems to adapt to regular changes on target sites.

• Containerize scraping services with Docker.

• Deploy and manage scraping operations on AWS.

• Monitor the performance, reliability, and data integrity of scrapers.

• Diagnose common failures, performance challenges, and inconsistencies in data collection.

⛳️ Requirements

• Prior experience with AWS is crucial for this position.

• Familiarity with AWS services including EC2, ECS, Lambda, S3, and SQS.

• Practical experience in utilizing Python in production settings.

• Experience in constructing, maintaining, and enhancing web scrapers.

• Hands-on experience with Playwright and/or Selenium.

• Proficiency in containerizing applications using Docker.

• Capability to produce clear documentation and communicate effectively within a team.

• Experience in collaborating with tools like Slack, Google Workspace, Jira, and Confluence.
