Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Uruguay.

📋 Description

• Create and execute multi-file coding tasks that encompass bug resolution, feature enhancement, code refactoring, and testing.

• Produce clear specifications in natural language along with reference implementations.

• Develop and expand unit and integration testing suites.

• Evaluate peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Detect edge cases, ambiguities, and potential points of failure.

• Ensure consistency between specifications, code, and anticipated results.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced professional proficiency in written English.

• 3–7 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; familiar with Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production environments.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing).

• Demonstrated capability to debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring processes, and production migrations.
