Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Portugal.

📋 Description

• Contributors will be responsible for designing and implementing multi-file coding tasks that encompass bug fixing, feature development, refactoring, and testing.

• Create clear specifications in natural language along with reference implementations.

• Develop and expand unit and integration test suites.

• Evaluate peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and practicality.

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure modes.

• Ensure that specifications, code, and expected outputs are aligned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written proficiency in English at an advanced level.

• 3 to 7 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript, along with a working knowledge of Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production systems.

• Familiarity with testing frameworks such as pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, and Go testing.

• Demonstrated ability to debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring practices, and production migrations.
