Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Italy.

📋 Description

• Design and execute multi-file coding projects encompassing bug fixing, feature enhancement, refactoring, and testing.

• Create concise specifications in natural language along with reference implementations.

• Develop and enhance unit and integration testing suites.

• Evaluate peer-generated tasks for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Recognize edge cases, ambiguities, and possible failure modes.

• Ensure consistency among specifications, code, and anticipated outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced professional proficiency in written English.

• 3–7 years of professional experience in software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; familiarity with Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production environments.

• Proficient with testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing).

• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience with code reviews, refactoring processes, and production migrations.
