Python Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ecuador.

📋 Description

• Contributors will design and execute multi-file coding assignments involving bug fixes, feature enhancements, code refactoring, and testing.

• Create clear specifications in natural language along with reference implementations.

• Develop and enhance unit and integration test suites.

• Evaluate peer-created tasks for accuracy, clarity, and feasibility.

• Detect edge cases, ambiguities, and possible points of failure.

• Ensure consistency among specifications, code, and anticipated outputs.

⛳️ Requirements

• Advanced written proficiency in English at a professional level.

• 3–7 years of experience in professional software engineering.

• Strong expertise in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript; familiarity with Java, C#, or Go.

• Experience in backend or full-stack development within production environments.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks (e.g., pytest, Jest, JUnit, xUnit, Go testing).

• Demonstrated ability to debug and navigate extensive, multi-file codebases.

• Experience in code reviews, refactoring, and managing production migrations.
