Python Automation Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions and backend services using Python.

• Create and support REST APIs along with integrations for enterprise platforms and external systems.

• Develop automation frameworks and scripts to assist infrastructure, security, and operational initiatives.

• Aid in dashboard creation and data aggregation from platforms like Webex, Verint, GitLab, and other enterprise tools.

• Create scalable data processing solutions for efficiently parsing and managing large datasets.

• Collaborate with teams in Voice Engineering, Operations, Security, and Product Lifecycle for modernization projects.

• Assist in migration efforts from on-premise platforms to cloud environments.

• Work within AWS and Azure cloud platforms to address automation and platform integration requirements.

• Implement CI/CD processes utilizing Azure DevOps and Git.

• Engage in troubleshooting, optimization, and performance enhancement activities.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation, workflows, and operational procedures.

• Collaborate within Agile delivery teams and effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 4+ years of experience in Python development, automation engineering, or backend engineering roles.

• Strong practical experience with Python and backend development frameworks like Flask, Django, or similar.

• Significant experience in designing, developing, and integrating REST APIs.

• Proven experience in building automation frameworks and enterprise integration solutions.

• Solid understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems.

• Experience with relational databases like MSSQL, PostgreSQL, or similar.

• Familiarity with Azure DevOps (ADO), Git, and CI/CD pipelines.

• Exposure to AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.

• Preferred experience with dashboarding and data visualization tools like Tableau.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and performance optimization abilities.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Capability to work independently in a fast-paced enterprise environment while effectively collaborating with distributed teams.

• Nice to have experience in Unified Communications (UC), Voice Engineering, or collaboration platforms.

• Familiarity with Webex, Verint, GitLab APIs, or similar enterprise integrations.

• Knowledge of JavaScript and frontend/backend integrations.

• Experience with data processing libraries such as Pandas is a plus.

• Experience with cloud migration and infrastructure modernization projects.

• Understanding of automation related to security patching and operational governance.

• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
